Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón (26 – 28/09/2014)

What an exciting and historic Race that was!

This past weekend’s Race, marked the 800th anniversary of premier class Grand Prix.
So from the beginning, it was set to thrill!
On top of that, rain came into the mix and worked its magic once more.

There was disappointment for many of the riders as well as ecstasy for others!

Marc Marquez failed to capitalise on his talent and speed once more this year and thus get back on his winning ways.
Wrong tyre selection and slippery conditions prevented the world championship leader and reigning world champion from claiming a win as he had to settle for 13th.

His teammate Dani Petrosa suffered the same fate, salvaging only 14th position.

Another great rider that couldn’t capitalise on his immense talent was Valentino Rossi. Valentino retired early in the race as a mistake made, resulted in a spectacular crash. Fortunately, he wasn’t injured although he undertook medical inspections as a precautionary measure due to the severity of his impact.

It was all fun and joy though, for Valentino’s teammate, Jorge Lorenzo, as he was the only rider who judged conditions perfectly and run a clean race to make it first to the chequered flag. His celebrations for winning his first GP of the season were definitely fun to watch!

All in all, this has been a hugely exciting Grand Prix to watch. We are sure that viewers enjoyed it immensely.
Next up, its Japan’s Motul Grand Prix in two weeks’ time (10 – 12.10.2014).
We all hope that’s going to be an exciting GP as well as we are only 4 GP to the end of the 2014 season.
